ABOUT ORGANIZATION

Babul ngo was established in 2012. They spread awareness about environmental issues using cinema and social media as tools. The three verticals they work on are Environment, Biodiversity and Sustainable Development. They got national and international recognition. 

OUR PROJECT

Babul ngo has many projects to environmental awareness including the annual BEFF Babul Eco Film Festival which is our flagship program. Other projects [ eg., EcoDictionary, EcoDoctor, EcoTambola, FunduChallenge, EcoShoot, Who am I, EcoCartoons, Eco e-library ] are designed to suit different target audience and outreach mode. ? Our present focus is on SINGLE USE PLASTICS awareness for which the project is launched by Jayanthi Sampath Kumar holder of Guinness Book of World records for Full Marathon run wearing a saree; on 1 July 2022 at Kendriya Vidyalaya Gachibowli.
